Altered CD

I created this altered CD for my daughters birthday this month and as she is a crafter too I needed to do something different to hold her card!

 

 

I used the Kaisercraft Marigold paper and collectables for this project.

 

 

I started by gluing  down the paper then stressed the edges with some duck egg blue paint.

then added the collectable flowers and sentiments after using distress inks on the edges.

Leaving them free on the inside edge to hold the wee card!

 

Added some blue bling then dabbed over some high points to tone down the brightness with the leftover paint.

 

Finally I added the bead trim, hanger made from ribbon, and covered the back with more of the paper.
